Cable crunch
Cable crunch is an intermediate core / bracing movement that trains abs, done with a cable stack. It's an isolation-style movement — useful for targeted work once the bigger compound lifts are done. Typical rep range is 12–20 reps, tempo 1-1-2.
The most common mistake is pulling with the arms and sitting back with the hips. If a cable stack or the movement itself doesn't suit you, Reverse crunch or Hanging knee raise or Dead bug or Bird dog cover the same pattern. It's usually held back for back, pregnancy issues — a coach or the substitution list is the safer route on a flare-up.
