Exercise · core / bracing
Ab wheel rollout
Ab wheel rollout is an advanced core / bracing movement that trains abs, deep_core, lats, done with no equipment. It's an isolation-style movement — useful for targeted work once the bigger compound lifts are done. Typical rep range is 6–12 reps, tempo 2-0-2.
The most common mistake is lower back sagging at the far position. If no equipment or the movement itself doesn't suit you, Plank (forearm) or Hollow body hold or Dead bug or Bird dog cover the same pattern. It's usually held back for back, shoulder, wrist, pregnancy issues — a coach or the substitution list is the safer route on a flare-up.
