Cat-cow
Cat-cow is a beginner-friendly mobility movement that trains spine, deep_core, done with no equipment. It's an isolation-style movement — useful for targeted work once the bigger compound lifts are done. Typical rep range is 8–12 reps, tempo slow.
The most common mistake is moving only the neck. If no equipment or the movement itself doesn't suit you, Child's pose (balasana) or Open book (thoracic rotation) or Cobra (bhujangasana) cover the same pattern. It's usually held back for wrist issues — a coach or the substitution list is the safer route on a flare-up.
