How we compute this
We divide the total weight change you've asked for by the weeks remaining until your wedding date to get a required weekly rate, then express that as a percentage of your current bodyweight so it's comparable across different starting weights.
The generally recommended safe pace for fat loss is 0.5–1% of bodyweight per week — faster than that and a rising share of what you lose tends to be lean mass and water rather than fat, plus the pace is harder to sustain and more likely to rebound. If your required rate comes out above roughly 0.75% a week we flag it in amber above: not a hard stop, but a sign to either give yourself more time or ease off the target.
Questions people ask
Roughly 0.5-1% of your bodyweight per week is the generally recommended safe range. How much that adds up to depends entirely on how many weeks you have — the calculator above divides your target change by your actual weeks remaining so you can see whether your goal fits comfortably inside that range or is pushing past it.
